These rolls have become a tradition in our home to make. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the finished product on Christmas morning but so easy and yummy to make anytime of year! I am re-posting this from last year and maybe this year I might get a picture of the baked product.
Update Got a Picture before it was completely gone!
1 1/2 cup pecan pieces
1 cup brown sugar
1 3-4oz package of vanilla or butterscotch pudding
1 cup melted butter
1 package frozen dinner rolls
First you need a package of frozen dinner rolls. I like to buy any brand that has them in a foil tray as it makes it super easy to give them as gifts and prepare without using any other dishes. Makes clean up easy on Christmas Morning too!
Next take the rolls out of the foil pan.
Then spread the pecans on the bottom of the foil pan. Combine the brown sugar and pudding mix; sprinkle over pecans.
Pour melted butter over sugar mixture and then place the rolls on top face down.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning uncover and bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. Turn out onto a foil or serving platter.
My kids know these now to be tradition for Christmas morning and look forward to them. Great to give out to your neighbors to have Christmas morning and easy to bake while you open presents! Enjoy!
