Savannah, GA–The Lady & Sons

Savannah GA The Lady & Sons

Savannah trip continue…On our 15th Wedding Anniversary we decided to eat at The Lady & Sons in Savannah, GA.  This is Paula Deen and her Sons restaurant. We had been there before and learned that you can’t just show up and plan to get a table in under 30 minutes or 1 hour or even 2 hours and or sometimes you just can’t even get in…yes, the amount of people who come here is incredible so you must plan ahead and yes it is that good to wait for.  The building is 3 stories tall and is very large so it is just incredible the amount of people they serve for lunch and dinner every day! We got lucky that on our drive down to Savannah we decided to make a phone call to the restaurant and were able to get a reservation at 7:30pm.

We had the all you can eat Southern Buffet with friend chicken, ribs, collard greens, black eye peas, butter beans, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and finished off with banana pudding and peach cobbler.  There were these super yummy biscuits they kept bringing to our table and we ate way too much!  When you come to the south you have to have a real southern meal and this is a great place to have one!
